Q

I swear that I heard the music from "She's So Beautiful Now" playing in the background during a recent episode of Classmates.  Am I crazy?

A

Yes, that was "She's So Beautiful Now" that you heard playing. I have no idea whether or not you're crazy.

Q

Where is Goralwear™, Brett's line of clothing "made for drummers by drummers", manufactured?

A

Goralwear™ always has, and always will be, proudly made in the USA!  The new spring line is out now!

Q

Are there any plans to release the classic Live from Antwerp! video on DVD? I lent my tape to a friend a few years back and it was mysteriously "lost".

A

Like the original film and video, the Live from Antwerp! DVD is only available in Belgium. You may want to try Ebay or Belgian music retailer Proxis.

Q

What does the name "the ShysterS" mean? My friend says "shyster" means "poop" in German. Does that mean you're name translates to "the PooperS"?

A

Ja.

Q

Recently I read that Shyster Bassist Brian Hufnagl is the latest name being thrown around to play opposite of Sharon Stone in the Basic Instinct sequel. Any truth to that?

A

It is true that Brain and his people have been in discussions with MGM regarding a role in the film. What remains unclear is what role is being discussed. Some reports say it is the lead role opposite of Ms. Stone while others say he would play the lead's body double. Questions still remain as to whether or not the film will even get made at all. Stay tuned to this site for all the lastest details!

Q

A friend told me that the next ShysterS record was going to be a children's album!? I hadn't heard anything about it. Could this be true?

A

James Dague is currently working on a Children's CD for the ScribbleSongs label entitled Best of Friends. It also features the ShysterS rhythm section, Brett Goral and Brian Hufnagl. The recording is scheduled for release on April 2, 2002

Q

I have heard that you guys don't play your own instruments is that true? I have yet to hear you play. I have also heard that you guys are just a cheap knock-off of Nino and the Ebbtides. Any comments?

A

While it is true that the first two ShysterS records were recorded primarily with studio musicians, the band has provided all their own instrumentation since that time. Regarding Nino, you must be confusing your bands. I believe you're thinking of the ShysterS' good friends, the Inhalers.

Q

Hey guys! I just received one of your CDs, fan, as a gift. Man it was phenomenal! Hey do you still do 16 African Women? Just wondering. Man that was a cool song.

A

We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the disk! New fan fans are always welcome! 16 African Women, huh? I believe you're thinking of Nino and the Ebbtides.

Q

I was just wondering when your VH1 "Behind the Music" episode will be airing? The "Where Are They Now?" article in People didn't do the band justice.

A

We weren't too happy with the People article ourselves. Talks are still ongoing with VH1 however and we hope to have something worked out to coincide with our next release.

Q

I had recorded a bootleg tape of the ShysterS' farewell, Last Chance show. Now that the performance has been released on disk, how much do you suppose this tape is worth?

A

How much did the blank tape cost you? If you punched out the tabs, you can still put tape over them and use it to record something else.

Q

I loved your "Got Milk?" ad! How did you do that thing with the cow? And do you all really drink milk?

A

I'm not really sure how the cow thing was done, but I promise you the cow was not harmed in any way. And yes, we all really drink milk. Chocolate milk rules!
